A park redesign opens up the view to downtown Kansas City, uncovers and celebrates the history of a buried creek, and brings diverse programs to its users.
A runnel is designed following the location of the buried creek, activating the space and capitalizing the downtown viewing with benches.
The middle of the park is left open to the downtown view, with scrim pools, flexible lawn and a park edge referencing the rail yard below.
